Community Foundation Invests in Community Through 2026 Impact Grants
More than $357,000 invested in nonprofit organizations strengthening and enriching communities across the Tahoe region!
The Tahoe Community Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 Community Impact Grants, awarding more than $357,000 to nonprofit organizations addressing critical community needs across the Tahoe region. This annual investment supports the people, programs, and partnerships creating lasting change and strengthening our communities.
Through a competitive application process, nonprofits identify opportunities to address pressing community needs, while the Community Impact Committee, a volunteer panel of local leaders, helps direct funding where it can make the greatest difference. Donor Advised Fund holders are also invited to co-invest, expanding the reach and impact of every grant awarded.
Each year, the Community Impact Grant program offers a powerful snapshot of the region's evolving needs. By listening to nonprofit partners and investing in community-driven solutions, Tahoe Community Foundation helps ensure resources reach the people and programs strengthening Tahoe today and for generations to come.
"These grants are a testament to the power of local philanthropy," said Aimee LaFayette, Chair of Tahoe Community Foundation’s CIC. "By bringing together donors, volunteers, and nonprofit organizations, we're able to support innovative solutions and respond to the needs that matter most to our community."
Together, these grants embody Tahoe Community Foundation's commitment to Elevating Generosity and helping communities thrive.
