In addition to multiple grant opportunities throughout the year, the Tahoe Community Foundation provides an abundance of resources for our nonprofit community. These include services to help manage and grow your organization’s funds, your listing in our Tahoe Nonprofit Directory, and the opportunity to share your funding needs with us.

Tahoe Nonprofit Directory

Created by the Tahoe Community Foundation, this directory connects residents, donors, volunteers, and those in need, to programs and services in the Tahoe region. The directory includes the mission statement and website for each local nonprofit to help guide users and build relationships.

Nonprofits listed on the Tahoe Nonprofit Directory are 501(c)3 public charities in good standing that provide significant service directly to Tahoe Basin communities.

Funding
Needs

Share Your Funding Needs

The Tahoe Community Foundation strives to understand the needs of local nonprofits and to share high quality funding opportunities with our donors. Our goal is to make connections between our donors and nonprofits serving the Tahoe region. We invite you to send us information regarding your current funding needs so that we might learn more about your organization and inform interested donors.

Keeping us in the loop is easy, just fill out the “Share Your Funding Needs” form.

(Please note that this is not a grant application and there is no guarantee of funding.)

Your right to privacy is very important to us. We recognize that providing the Tahoe Community Foundation with your personal information is an act of trust. The Community Foundation does not share personal information, except as required by governmental entities or legal process. Donor names may be recognized in the Community Foundation’s annual report and other forms of public recognition, unless you chose to remain anonymous.

WEBSITE USE

This website is owned and operated by the Tahoe Community Foundation. Our intention is to inform and educate visitors about our work as a partner in community philanthropy, a grantmaker, and as a community resource. The Community Foundation is committed to honoring the privacy of all those we work with, including visitors to our website.

When you visit us online, you remain anonymous, as we do not require registration to view our website or access information. We may occasionally ask for your feedback via surveys or other communications to better understand your interests and needs. We may also request information through online forms used to register for Community Foundation events or to update our records. The Community Foundation does not share or publicize any personal information gathered through our website.

If you are a Community Foundation fundholder and you use our fund advisor portal, you will be asked to provide your login and password information to authenticate your identity before accessing your fund information. This information is only used through the fund advisor portal platform.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

All access to donor information is strictly limited to Community Foundation employees. The Community Foundation does not sell, trade, rent or share donor information with any other person or organization, for any purpose, except with the donor’s specific permission or as required by applicable law.

The Community Foundation uses an accredited online payment processing vendor (Stripe) that transfers credit card information only to its secure server using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. The Community Foundation does not have access to donor credit card information or account data sent to the online payment processing vendor.

Throughout our website, we may offer links to third party sites. Since we do not control those websites, we encourage you to review their privacy policies as well.
